The Only Chore Chart You’ll Ever Need

Posted September 1, 2017

Do you know the secret to keep your apartment clean?  The key is to clean do a little bit every day.  Of course, there are the things you already keep up with daily or regularly (we hope) – like doing the dishes, taking out the trash or wiping down the kitchen counters.  Often it’s the tasks beyond that that can easily fall if you don’t have a plan that fits in with your already busy schedule.

There are home tasks that should be done once a week such as a laundry, as well as tasks that you might take once or twice a month like cleaning your freezer or pantry.  The cleaning time varies depending on how long you put them off.  Taking on one of those tasks every day on a regular basis means taking a little bit of time out of your normal day to avoid having to spend an entire day or worse, your entire weekend to do chores.

Whether you live alone or with the roommates, it helps to have a chore chart to know when and what you need to get it done.  A chore chart can help you divide up the assign tasks to different members of the household.

Another thing to remember and keep in mind.  If you clean your apartment on a regular basis and keep thing tidy, you are more likely to get your damage deposit fully returned from cleaning cost!  Keep your apartment clean and enjoy your living space.
